Things To Do

Getting Around - Walking around downtown is easy! Thanks to a system of skyways and underground walkways lined with restaurants and shops, you rarely have to step foot outside. Guests will find many transportation options including buses, taxis, car rentals, airport shuttles (MSP and RST), and in-town shuttles.

Things To Do - Visit our picturesque parks and renowned historical sites. Attend a festival, take a trolley tour, or hike or bike on 85 miles of paved trails that wind through the city. In the winter enjoy skating, cross-country skiing, or curling up to a coffee shop fireplace. Shopping, eating, exercising, entertainment, and events are all available.

Food - There is a boom in new restaurants. Farm-to-table fare is featured on the menus of many local restaurants that have committed to providing fresh flavors using locally-sourced ingredients. Downtown Rochester is a dining hot spot with several new, vibrant restaurants clustered on or near Historic Third Street. Be sure to check out the downtown nightlife and music scene after you dine.
